Outreach Groups
Each week, our worship ends with the words “Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.” Fed with spiritual food, we go back out into the world to put our faith into action. Members of St. Anne’s love and serve God through hands-on outreach, both locally and across the globe.
Local
Church Service League
The Church Service League (CSL) is open to parish women who wish to contribute to charitable causes through work with their hands. Throughout the year, CSL coordinates local outreach opportunities. Annual efforts range from providing bags and lists of supplies needed for women and children fleeing domestic abuse to raising money to give to local groups. CSL raises money through an annual sale in December.
Open Table
St. Anne’s occasionally raises and donates money to this food pantry and Backpack Program, located in Maynard. Learn more about Open Table.
Boston
B-SAFE
In the Bishop’s Summer Academic & Fun Enrichment (B-SAFE) Program, partner churches, including St. Anne’s, provide activities and meals for hundreds of youth in Boston.
B-READY
Once a month, we cook a hot lunch for students at the St. Stephen’s after-school program. Contact Maria Rose if you'd like to cook something. (Click for food guidelines.) Throughout the year, we also collect various items (school supplies, Halloween costumes, Christmas gifts) for the students at St. Stephen’s. You can learn more about St. Stephen’s at their website.
